Atleti are in terrible form but if we play the side to side passing midfield we won't get anywhere. Vinicius should be starting this game without a shadow of a doubt but he probably wont which is a shame becauxe only he and Hazard have that ability to run at defenders

As a side note, Bale has been training with the team but ZZ did not pick him in the Copa game meaning there is 0 chance he starts against Patetico. Music to my ears!!

Hazard Won't play. even if he is 100% i would not play him against atletico thugs.

4312 is the way to go with Kroos-Casemiro-Valverde, Hazard, Benz-Vinicius. Hope he tries that line up soon

Our defence again did excellent but it was easier to defend with 2 wingers instead of this pseudo make shift midfield

The ref made sure to blow every time we blew on Atleti players but waved play on when they pushed us to get balls etc. Terrible!!

Unless Vini can play on the right (he can't), he'll never play over Hazard. That's his issue. Hazard is going to play next week or the week after.

Or Hazard could play over Isco behind Benz

ZZ will always play a 3 man mid. Modric/Kroos - Casemiro - Valverde/Modric are locks.

And Hazard will be played in his best position as will Benz. It's up to Vini to either learn to play on the right or not play.

I'd rather he doesn't learn to become the new Lucas Vasquez
