Whether it's Watford or Fenerbahce, Markovic is leaving. I think it can turn out to be a good thing for both him and Liverpool. Markovic needs to play regularly. Once he starts playing regularly, his confidence will return.

I believe he is a great talent and he can be really great for Liverpool. But that's not going to happen if he keeps warming the bench.

Was never going to make it under Rodgers.

Markovic is gonna shine so much in Klopps one touch passing, direct, high work rate, high pressing football. And he needs a coach who is like a best friend to the players to get over his mental hump.

I really hope there's a chance he can be recalled. the stupidest effing decision was to send Markovic and Ilori out on loan. Just insane.

Markovic was really shit when he was here though. When he played he looked c worse than Ibe.

In the second half of the season by the end his confidence was completely gone so he kept passing down his responsibilities to others and playing it safe and really not doing anything of note.

It didn't help that Rodgers played him out of position at wing back in the limited game time that he got.

The few games where he got consistent minutes in late December, January and February he really showed great form and played in his natural position as an attacker.

Rodgers really didn't give him a shot so I don't blame him at all.

He showed glimpses that if groomed correctly could turn him into a great player. I think his style of play fits what Klopp did at Dortmund to a tee.

Any player is going to struggle to perform with a lack of game time and limited time on the pitch. It's hard enough for older / experienced players let alone a kid...

The good news for Markovic are that we need wingers.

The bad news are that it's pretty hard to impress and keep yourself in the manager's thoughts when you're out on loan.
