Very nice goal in the U21s. Looks head and shoulders better than everyone at that level. Needs to play in MF. I would rather him play box to box than the destroyer role as well.

guys you need to realx about Can over Henderson and Milner. Can is still raw and as much as I like him, he fails to make simple passes sometimes, instead he chooses something difficult to do.

I am worried about Can, he is constantly playing in so many positions. After watching ydays game against Scotland, he was really bad defensively, specially giving the free-kick away which resulted in goal.

He is getting into XI of World's best team at age of 21 in a star-studfded squad.

He had that problem of not tracking off-the-ball runs last season when he should have, but he's not playing as a defender for us any longer, so it's probably ok. We'll see what happens if he starts playing DM constantly.

I am not worried about Can and Liverpool together, for right now. I am worried about Cans career because i think he is a class talent and he needs to be nurtured properly so that he can moulded into something meaningful.

Can might not be a problem right now but we have a very brilliant player at our hands and I dont like that he is being played at RB position for NT. I hope next chances he gets, he remains on the bench and come as a sub for some CM.

I agree with Helmer. Now that he has stake claim in NT squad in addition to LFC, he needs a purpose to grow. Bit parts players rarely develop.

I'm getting frustrated with this kid. True, he is still young and will develop over time; but there are elements that's so maddening. He can't make a simple pass. Last game alone, several time he simply ran into a bunch of Southampton players while he had enough time and space to release the ball.
