Just a suggestion, maybe we should take a few days or weeks to settle down before we start talking marketing and spreading our reach, especially if we're thinking of bringing people from goal.com pages. right now it's largely threads about "look at this new forum" "wheres XXXXX from goal.com?" "why did goal.com close" etc.

once we settle in to normal routines we can move forward.

Twitter is the best marketing today.

I have around 480 followers but if there is a goallegacy account, it should be someone promoting the account by following as many people (football fans) as possible.

Its important not to be annoying. Its important to save the reputation of this name. Providing reliable news. DO NOT POST PERSONAL OPINIONS. etc...

you people really need to chill out, this forum has been running for barely 24 hours but half the posts are about promoting and marketing...

let the forum get into a routine --> get a .com domain --> start a legitimate website, not only a forum --> promote --> profit

how many links clearly unrelated to the topic or promoting a free hosting website do you usually click when you see them?

if many, may i introduce myself, i'm from the nigerian royal family and lately my relatives have been having problems retreiving some of their cash...

Yeah but its not like that. I clearly wrote what happened(goal.com closed the forum and we started out own) and posted our link with it. It cant hurt for now mate.
