All I've heard is that he's left the Italy training camp however that could be for a very minor injury, hopefully it's nothing too serious.

Bertolacci had an initial examination today at Milanello to know the extent of his injury. He is highly doubtful for the derby

Apparently Mexes will be out for the derby as well, so its gonna be Zapata/Alex alongside Roma

Whilst I would like to see us persist with Ely, I would honestly understand if Sinisa played Zapata, he's been excellent in his first two performances. It's been well demonstrated that he's not a long term solution but if Sinisa truly is going to reward those in good form, he has put forward a strong case to start.

Even in Serie B, Ely had a disturbing tendency to rack up the cards:

2 suspensions with Varese due to accumulation of yellow cards two seasons ago

+

1 double yellow suspension at Avellino

+

3 red card suspensions at Avellino, including 1 where he missed 4 games as a result

Meh, not too bothered if Ely starts ahead of Crapata, he's always been so and so with his consistency, what i wanna know is why Sinisa is reluctant to start Abate, i have a feeling MDS won't do well this match

GDM (Sky) says the estimated recovery time is about two months

So, who do we reinstate in the XI? Menez or Balo?
